Vision Therapy

Popular Therapy Services

Vision development

Eye is considered to be the supreme sense. 80% of our understanding of the objects, people and the environment around us comes through the visual system. The development of vision is unique and follows a particular sequence.

Vision & Education

Good vision is key for all students to excel academically. Visual difficulties can negatively impact your child’s reading performance at school. It is essential that we diagnose all learning related visual problems at the earliest so that we increase the chance of managing learning disability successfully.

Vision Rehabilitation

Low vision refers to decrease in vision that cannot be corrected with spectacles, contact lenses or surgery. Unlike blindness, these patients can use their vision to some extent to carry out their day-to-day activities, reading or writing. Any disease, disorder or an injury to the eyes can lead to low vision.

Vision Therapy for Amblyopia

Amblyopia is a neuro-developmental disorder that starts during early childhood. In this condition brain ignores the information received from the weak eye. As a result, both the eyes do not work as a team.

Vision Therapy for Autism

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neuro-developmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, communication and repetitive behaviors. 1 in 59 children are found to have ASD and four times more common in boys than girls.

Professional Advice

Visual perception is the ability of our brain to interpret what is seen around us. The simple act of seeing and reading the last line of the visual acuity chart does not mean that the person has good visual perceptual skills. A child may simply identify an object at a distance but if the child shows difficulties in registering the object.
